Blog numero uno: some then and nows | Humboldt county newborn and family photographer

So since I am launching a brand new site I am starting over with a brand new blog. And by the way, I am making a commitment to blog here once a week. So hold me to it. 🙂 I don’t want to just show all my recent stuff because, well let’s face it, you’ve probably seen a lot of it over on my FB page. Sooo I decided blogging some then and nows of my clients would be fun! I love these progression shots and it’s actually one of my favorite things about being a newborn and family photographer. I love being there to document those changes from little tiny sleeping human to full of personality toddler, and beyond. This first little doll face first came to me for 6 month pics and we just recently took her two year photos. Her’s are always some of my faves because look at her, she’s gorgeous.

Next up is one another of my favorite families. I took newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, and family pics of sweet Breyden. Most recently, I was honored to take maternity pics and then newborn pics of his little brother Tatum. Tatum reminds me so much of his big bro and I am so excited to see him grow over the next year… and then newborn pics of baby #3 (which will surely be a girl) in about 18 months. 😉

There’s so many clients I could choose to share, but I am going to share one more for now. This is Leon. He hasn’t always been one of the easiest little guys to photograph, but he’s easily one of the cutest! He gave me a run for my money at his newborn session (not wanting to sleep), but looking back I still love the pics we got!

Hopefully those were fun for you to see. Don’t be sad if I have taken lots of pictures for you over the years and I didn’t share them here. It doesn’t mean I don’t love you and I will be sharing more in the future. My favorite part about looking back is seeing not only how the clients have changed/grown but also my work as a photographer. 🙂
