Since I turned my hobby/passion of being a family photographer into a photography business, it’s important for me to remember to get out and take pics just for me. Images that inspire me and allow me to relax and break away from the pressure of delivering that “perfect shot” for mom and dad to hang above their fireplace. I had this idea of doing a vintage/farm styled session for a while now. I am so glad I finally decided to make it happen. I asked Amber Ferriman, my ex-client turned friend, turned wonderful photographer to join me. Together we chose the models, thinking about not only their individual look but how they looked together and how they would fit with the overall theme of the shoot. It was not easy to choose just three models and we looked over pics for multiple days, until we decided on these three girls. I couldn’t be happier with how well the models worked together and how perfect they fit my vision. Amber and I then shopped for vintage dresses, aprons, etc. The whole process was just fun, and I wanted the session to be the same. I had access to the prefect location and everything just came together. I couldn’t be more in love with these images. I think this is one of my favorite sessions to date. I have a new vision now, that I will be needing two boy models for and can’t wait to see that come to lif as well. 🙂
