I have decided I really love the age of 4 months. It's so fun to see a baby's personality just starting to unfold. Braden was such a good sport and hung out with me for an extra long session.

He had the prettiest eyes, and with a parent with each dark and light eyes his mom was still unsure if he would keep the light color. After taking these pics though, I can confidently say, he's a blue eyed boy. Gorgeous blue eyes, with a green ring in the middle! I was just dying editing these and looking at them.

He started the shoot with all smiles, and amazed me with his balance, strength and neck control (all the fun milestones at his age). He was happy to try out different hats and poses as long as we stopped and gave him a chance to nurse here and there. He hardly fussed, and was just a doll. By the end of the shoot, he crashed out and we were able to get some cute sleepy shots. I can't wait to meet up with him for more pics and some with his sisters too!

I was so excited to meet 6 day new Natalia. Since she kept her parents up ALL night the night prior to our shoot, we were all hopeful that she'd sleep the entire time. She took a while to get used to the idea of having her pics taken, but finally she gave in and relaxed after about an hour. She slept pretty good for me, but never quite gave in completely. She still made it known if she didn't want to be in a particular pose. She definitely made me work for it, but I finally got her into my favorite pose of all... the "head on hands" pose. In the end, she was nothing less than precious and I got some adorable shots.

I had so much fun with this sweet family during last nights session. They are expecting their second boy in just a few weeks. Their two year old, Leo, was a little shy at first.  I think mom and dad were worried we might not get any family shots with him in the picture. As time went on though, Leo opened up to the idea, and with the help of some "yum, yums" (a little bribery) we were able to get some adorable shots.

Leo was such a cutie and ALL boy. He was happy and in his zone being outside. I love to see how easily young kids are entertained with something as simple as playing with rocks and grass.

I was so excited to meet little 3 month old Breyden and his family for some portraits early Sunday morning. Since I was lucky enough to meet Breyden as a newborn and take his newborn photos, I was anxious to see how much he had changed. It's always so amazing to me how quickly children grow and change. Little Breyden was as cute as ever, and what a good natured baby he is! He showed up in the perfect coordinating outfit with his parents, and although he didn't want to be super smiley he had no complaints and was a perfect doll. By the end of the shoot, little Breyden was so tuckered out he fell asleep. I love being a part of capturing families as they grow and change. I hope to continue to be a part of these moments with this perfect little family.

After a long search for a perfect field of flowers, I was so excited to share it with this adorable family. We somehow lucked out on a beautiful day after a long stretch of rain. The sun was out, but it sure wasn't warm. During the shoot this little man schooled me on princesses as he did his best to smile "like he did when he met Belle". I bet his sister will share his love for princesses and he will be a great big brother. I can't wait to meet their little bundle, and hear her name.
